Exciting News - We've Expanded!! |
On July 22nd the Most Reverend Bishop Frank J. Dewane presided over the dedication and blessing of Our Mother's House Venice Avenue. We are now privileged to be providing housing and support to 17 mothers and their children at any given time. Without the help of Our Mother's House, as well as the support of our community, these young women and their babies would be homeless. |
New Partner - Head Start |
Our Mother's house has partnered with Children's First and established an Early Head Start just for OMH children, and it is located on site. Early Head Start opened in March; it is a licensed program with certified teachers who will ensure that in addition to a wonderfully warm and caring environment, our children gain the skills and abilities they need to enter the public school system. |
